Kowloon City is probably the most interesting story I’ve ever heard. There used to be photos of it from 90s before it was destroyed and it was so cool to read about it and see how the people lived there.

This same district also has a claustrophobic shopping centre called the Golden Computer Arcade. It's a tech retail cluster so tech things are often cheaper there.
