You won't survive, but on the bright side the chance of being in an elevator fall in any elevator built after the 1850s is basically 0%

You should lie flat on the floor so the impact force is spread across a larger surface. By jumping you just delay the impact, but still get about the same force across your comparatively small feet as if you were just standing

Ok, but consider that it might be better to get down in a crouching position, put your head between your knees, and kiss your ass goodbye
