"This DEI, that seems like a petty look. I disagree with DEI, but she is the vice president of the United States. She is the [sic] former U.S. senator. These congressmen that are saying it, they're wrong in their own instincts," he argued.

He also said the attacks could backfire if Harris shows her mettle in the coming months, and could inadvertently bolster her profile. "That would be an advantage for Kamala. Air Force One is very powerful when it lands somewhere, and you know what? Something will happen between now and the election, a hurricane or something else, and she'll be able to present herself as a leader."

But will they listen? I vote nah.

They booted McCarthy specifically because they were so offended by the fact that he prioritized political reality over partisan posturing, so no - they're not going to listen.

In just a few days, this race went from scary and stressful to pure popcorn. At this point, I'm not even sure if Harris has to actively run for office - it looks more all the time as if the republicans are going to beat themselves with no help from snyone else.

Please let this be so. I'm for the party, "Let's make politics boring again!"

Between this country's issues with racism and sexism I'm not so sure.

I think you are right, Trump and co. are surely going to shoot (no pun intended) themselves in the feet man more times.

I really really hope so.

It's offensive and no one should be insulted like that, but I believe she's got her big girl pants on and can handle it. If you're in politics you have to have a thick skin.

I hope they continue to prove themselves to be the racist misogynistic asshats we've been saying they are for decades.

Even the idea of referring to big girl pants seems so misogynistic, you know?

I don't lol is it? I really didn't think of it that way, if she were a man I'd have said big boy pants too.

I hope I wasn't being misogynistic, I hate everyone equally! :P
