A military man wounded as a result of a car explosion in Moscow is an officer in the military unit of “psychological operations” of the GRU Andrei Torgashov - the namesake of the deputy head of the transmitting radio center 89 of the satellite communications center of the Russian Armed Forces Andrei Torgashov

As a result of a car explosion in the courtyard of his house on Sinyavinskaya Street in Moscow, Andrei Vyacheslavovich Torgashov, born in 1974, was wounded. He serves in military unit 45807 in Moscow. This unit belongs to the units of Psychological Operations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and is part of the former GRU, now the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is the central military intelligence agency of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation). Torgashov was born in Semipalatinsk (Kazakhstan).

Deputy head of the transmitting radio center 89 of the satellite communications center of the RF Armed Forces, Andrei Torgashov, was not injured as a result of the explosion. The military man was also born in 1974, but has a middle name Valerievich and a different day and month of birth. He lives in the Istra district of the Moscow region.

The victim's wife's name is indeed Maya Torgashova, she received minor facial injuries, and previously gave ASTRA a short comment, stating that both she and her husband were alive. GRU officer Andrei Torgashov lost his feet after the explosion, but despite this he managed to stop the bleeding by making tourniquets from his shirt before the ambulance arrived. Now he is in the hospital.

We apologize to our readers for the error.
