I found this one the most insightful guide to date! I always thought that Audible had no better alternatives. I couldn't have been more wrong!

It might mean using one/two different apps, but plenty of better options are available. And you can support your local library or bookstore.

P.S. I am aware that I am a week behind schedule... my job sadly has gotten in the way of things last week.

If you are capable of any selfhosting I use audiobookshelf and definitely would recommend

Please do not switch to Audiolib. It is owned by French fascist Vincent Bolloré who is actively manipulating the media and financing far-right candidates in France that consider Donald Trump’s politics a great example to follow.
