What can I expect in the Oide Wiesn? We have wristbands already so we can get to the Schützenlisl tent, but I am wondering what else there is to do. Will there be a petting zoo again this year?

That sounds great, thanks. It will be my first time at Oktoberfest, so I'll definitely check out the museum tent to learn a bit about the history.

Still, most people return to Oktoberfest year after year because of its unique, excessive atmosphere in the big beer tents, so don't miss out on those. Hofbräu, Löwenbräu have a more international crowd, Schottenhamel, Hacker, Schützen more locals.
