I'm sorry, are you gatekeeping shitposting? Do you really understand how much dumber shit gets posted in these things? For weeks, we had the stupidest fucking posts about beans. Fuckin beans.
And everyone ate that shit up.
So yeah I'm not touching the slop bullshit, regardless of how it was made, since it's not actually breaking any rules. You don't have to like the post. I don't have to like the post. But others do.
And if this bothers you, unsubscribe. Otherwise, be respectful.
Look man. Beans are dumb but that dumb shit still has more personality and effort than AI slop. (Although a lot of that WAS AI which sucks.) If you're encouraging/stepping back from trying to rid the Internet of this AI slop infection, then you're part of the problem, especially since you're in a position to actually do something. It's a shame you aren't. It's hard for me to watch every single fucking community just turn into AI generated bullshit.
Anyway, you clearly have no interest in hearing my point of view so whatever. I appreciate that you spend time modding these communities. I really do. But I wish you'd change your stance on AI. It's ruining everything and reinforcing Dead Internet Theory. Also a lot of people Do NOT like the AI bullshit so it's not like everyone is good with it...
One day you'll realize that the communities you moderate are just fucking bad, and AI will be to blame. When that happens I hope you'll understand that you could have done something.
