I wouldn't wear them in this colour because I don't do brown shades. I'd wear them if they were black but I'd never spend that much on boots!
Style wise I'm gonna go simple. Bootcut jeans, navy Boho shirt similar to this.
Simple is good for everyday, since there's a lot going on with them. But for when we give up this provincial life and finally join the ranks of the sea? Probably a fluffy shirt, lots of belts, and a long, tough jacket.
Women's boots really are a gold mine for costume stuff. I found a great pair of below the knee riding-ish boots for my Ren faire outfit.
Good point! If we're going pirate we really need a hat though
Why not short skirts or denim shorts? That way the shoes will be in focus?
