It's part of the crypto-ecofascist trend in the Global North. Think of it as the "counter" to the conspiracy theories about eating bugs and the "UPF witchhunting". If RFKJr gets in, it's going to get a lot ~~worse~~ more obvious as part of "MAHA": they want to replace "UPFs" that have refined plants products with more animal products, with meat, and milk.
