Trump is responsible for locking people in cages and having them die in there. And after being notified he doubled down on it. And many other acts that have led to people's deaths.

Why are murderers above being murdered?

If you want to talk about justice you need to maintain superior standards and morals.

Your argument is no better than the "Saudi Arabia doesn't allow the building of churches, so why do we allow the building of mosques?" The answer is that we're better than fucking Saudi Arabia.

Eye for an eye types of justice quickly become escalated and end up in a race to the bottom.

Killing Nazis IS superior standards and morals. What, you gonna tell me liberating Auschwitz was wrong because the Allies used violence? You gonna say it makes them no better than the Nazis to solve problems with guns?

I don't think an assassination attempt on Trump is equal to ending fascism in WWII, although I understand why it is tempting to draw a comparison.

If you want to try normalising and rationalising assassination attempts on world leaders, then don't act surprised when someone comes for the one you support.

No matter how much you hate Trump, this act should absolutely be condemned.

I would be very happy if the democrats assassinated Trump and the Republicans killed Biden. Problem solved!

But if you mean "what if the CIA assassinated communist leaders", uhhhhhh they already do.

I think any endorsement of violence is absolutely terrible and wanting leaders shot is an extremly slippery slope.

That's not what I meant but it's also something that I don't endorse.

Tolerating intolerance is intolerant. If you allow there to be people in your government who assassinate communist leaders, lock babies in cages, and deny lifesaving healthcare to minorities, then that stuff is gonna happen. Problems with society member got solved with wishful thinking and fairy dust. They got solved with blood. The Nazis had to be shot. The crusaders had to be stabbed. The conquistadores ought to have got arrows in their throats. It's the same in fiction, too. Luke Skywalker didn't get rid of the Death Star by sitting down and talking with Darth Vader, he used a bomb. Frodo and Aragorn didn't defeat Sauron by voting, they used their swords. The Avengers didn't debate Thanos into leaving them alone, they cut off his head with a magic axe.

What on earth do you think we're supposed to do with Nazis except kill them?

I've already stated that equating killing Trump to ending fascism is a bit of a stretch. And you can tell me until you're blue in the face about how much you want Trump killed, I disagree, I think it sets a terrible precedent.

This is real life not a fantasy film.

Alright, thanks for dodging the question and regurgitating thought terminating cliches.

Yh we've both been repeating ourselves. I'm not going to change your mind, you're not going to change mine.

All I have left to say is that I hope that there isn't someone else out there who thinks it's OK to kill someone they hate and who then decides that they hate people like you.

Because we don't have to be all "law of the wild." Murderers deserve imprisonment, not death and endangerment.
