Since I see no replies yet, I'll give a sort of answer. I use Overseerr and my own self hosted domain name with Cloudns so that I can let my friends/family connect to it remotely to request stuff.
It sounds like it's definitely not 1:1 with what you're asking for since it only does sonarr and radarr and is not something accessible from messengers, but figured I'd mention it because it's been great for me. I use it for myself to add new stuff as well so I never have to go into the individual sonarr/radarr instances to add stuff.
Thank you for the suggestion! I could try and see if my user pool would give that a shot but, I have some pretty tech illiterate people using my services.
My partner has embraced overseer though so it's been a win in the acceptance stack in that regard. . since they don't use Discord
If you are using Plex, you can also configure jellyseerr to monitor the Plex watchlist and it will then auto-grab and missing media via sonarr and radarr. That way they potentially don't have to learn any new software. Not sure if overseerr can also do that as I haven't used it, but may also be an option.
