The Rules

Posts must be:

  1. Links to news stories from...
  2. ...credible sources, with...
  3. ...their original headlines, that...
  4. ...would make people who see the headline think, “That has got to be a story from The Onion, America’s Finest News Source.”

Comments must abide by the server rules for Lemmy.world and generally abstain from trollish, bigoted, or otherwise disruptive behavior that makes this community less fun for everyone.

And that’s basically it!

Given that a smartphone will remain in good working order, and reasonably current in terms of tech, for 2-3 years, you'd have to be a bit of a mug to pay this.

And I'm pretty rough on my tech, I imagine most people would do far better than that.

My last iPhone lasted more than six years hahaha

I didn’t even need to upgrade, but I wanted 120hz, USB-C, and better cat pics in low light. I did not realize how big of a difference it would be for cat pix. It’s wild that I don’t have to charge it every night, too!

Did you replace the battery at any point?

Nope! Original battery!
