Jokes in you thinking these would be many cables. It's probably one long fibre optic cable used to store bits in-flight.

At some point in the video they film a room they can't go into because the SEC would need to be notified. The rack in the room has spools of fiber allocated to various financial institutions so they can have equidistant links for fair trading.

The icing on the cake for me is the empty “Neat Patch” above the switches
Those big beefy switches had been EoL for several years before they got decommed. The blue spaghetti is the result of migrating off of them. This room was bad before, but after... yeah, this is what happens when companies decide to have a dozen locations but fire all of the DC staff in most of them.
