Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

“Low cost” for VW, uh huh then you pay nearly half a grand for an e-brake switch or such prices on servicing. Fool me once VW but after years servicing a Tiguan; never again. Even commented as such years ago after a service. You can’t honestly expect me to buy another car from you after you’ve spent years fleecing me on service cost. I’ll just get a hilux or some shit; at least then the air con might work properly.
My sister and I both got VWs around the same time several years ago. Her Tiguan is constantly fucked up. My GTI has only needed routine maintenance and recently a large AC job. We’ve had such polar opposite experiences.
Interestingly I got a Golf R line to drive as loan vehicle from VW. Loved it, such a fun car to drive. Pity I’m too tall to fit inside one comfortably. Could also be a Tiguan issue. Not that it justifies the servicing cost. I’ve always had well off relatives ask me about the Tiguan now you mention it so I wonder if it’s got a bit of a track record. My boss loved his Touareg; but with his per annum you can probably overlook that stuff. AC is the big one since it frequently gets over 40C here with high humidity and European AC apparently can’t deal.
