Apu has been largely absent the past few seasons. Now Milhouse/Jimbo will need to be replaced.

Last I heard, Apu was being removed because he's become a stereotype that's reaching into the racism spectrum.

Yeah I've watched the documentary and I understand where some folks are coming from, but I've also read the opposite. At this point the decision has been made and Hank Azaria isn't going to voice him anymore, so it's not a debate worth having. At this point Apu is gone and I doubt he'll be brought back.
