I might be misunderstanding the question or whiffing on an OS joke but currently there’s only RuneScape (RS3) and Old School RuneScape (OSRS)

I’ve played a lot of both and I’d pick OSRS.

I’m not sure about two OSRS but there were RuneScape classic servers still running until like 2018.

In OSRS you can create different types of accounts with restrictions such as no trading but it’s all in the same game.

Runescape Classic was shut down in 2018. Now it's just OSRS and RS3.

It might be that you've heard of the alternative client, Runelite. This is still osrs on the same servers. It is just a different client with more bells and whistles. I highly recommend it! You can even launch it directly from the jagex launcher now.
