A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Nah, Trump should be shot at until someone stops missing. And then we keep going for good measure.
Yeah, now say that on a literal stage, with a microphone, in front of thousands, while the whole thing is being recorded.
Oh and you're famous enough that it would be trivial for a pissed off crazy person with a gun to figure out where you and your children live.
I'm certain the first thing that came to mind wasn't money.
Yeah, sure, and everyone is entitled to their opinion on this matter, but the fact is, as a public figure, you risk a LOT by saying such a thing.
