Still can't tell if it's AI but here's a very similar photo from Shanghai which does seem real https://nz.pinterest.com/pin/131659989093808148/
I thought if it was real it could be from the same photographer but no luck, however there are some really nice photos by her here if you like cityscapes.
Edit: found an earlier reference to this photo from 2019 which also claims to be in Shanghai but not where it actually is.
