Hey, guys. Can anyone explain in simple words, what are the main benefits of Monero compared to other anonymous coins?

monero is ultimately dependent on bitcoin, if you want to know why contact me on a server that is not corporate captured.

I don't know about a "mascot", but they will sue you if you use their logo without permission point your browser over here

There were a bunch of anime girls drawn by some Japanese person a long time ago but the zcash community doesn't really care about it (imo a good indicator that their "community" is only really about NgU and not that organic). ZCash corporate likes to use zebras which is also not really working.
