This one time ~~at band camp~~ I was in the hospital when they pulled the iv, the blood hit the ceiling. The nurse freaked out and ran out into the hallway, leaving me to put pressure on it to stop the blood loss. There was a bunch of gauze right there, across the room, I just couldn't get to it. Lots of fun.
