Just ran across this in the newcommunities discussion. Figured I'd jump start a thread for people to chime in on.

  • What have you been playing lately?
  • Anything you're looking forward to?
  • What do you wish you could play, but never have the time or players?

I played the new Slay the Spire board game with 4p co-op recently. It's basically the video game, but you have to manually keep track of everything. I think if you like the vg version you'll like the bg version and vice versa.

I also played my first game of Oath recently. Since there are so many win conditions, on the first playthrough, it can be difficult for everyone to understand what they should be doing (similar to root). One thing everyone knew for sure was that they didn't want to become a citizen...until it got near the end of the game and someone said "oh shoot, I should have become a citizen!" I'll definitely need another few games to get a feel for it.

I love the art of Leder Games and have pre-ordered Arcs. I hear it's a bit polarizing. Will have to give it a shot.
