Yeah exactly, from my understanding these are some of the most popular and best selling games around so.... completely unnecessary

It's also that their monetization scheme begets piracy. A game and the dlc for it should never cost more than $100

That's a strange hill to die on. I mean sure I will also never buy this game but with inflation it's just a matter of time.

I would much rather have a higher initial cost with no macro transactions in game.
