Your post subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.
Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.
Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.
Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Posts and comments which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.

Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.
If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

I mean, others are doing the same. We know because it makes it harder for us to meddle in foreign elections. And of course Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, they're going to interfere with our elections as much as they can. President Trump was very good for them, and his voters are easily swayed.
It is a matter of scale, the US does it to grow and maintain hegemonic power and others react in kind.
That makes it sound like you think that its only wrong with the US does it?
It's like American exceptionalism for people that don't like America
Welcome to Lemmy
No but there is a measure of who had caused the most harm for their own good. US #1
This is hopelessly naive.
Right back at you buddy.
You really think that for the entire duration of the russian empire and its successor states (to this very day) all those vassals actually had a say in their government? There’s no helping you.
Talking about the US.
Jesus Christ, dude. The russian empire predates the American state. They’ve been subjugating client states for a long, long time. They’ve been undermining the free will of countless Eurasian peoples for centuries. And they’re more active in that arena now than they were back in the old days.
No need to be belligerent with commonly known facts. Still the 100+ year global hegemonic run of the US far exceeds the Eurasian hegemony of the Russian empire in terms of lives lost, economic impact, and ecological loss.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Stalin alone killed some 20 million people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excess_mortality_in_the_Soviet_Union_under_Joseph_Stalin.
Uh holomodor calling, as example.
The Holomodor is truly an horrific genocide of the Ukrainian people caused by the Soviets.
The US has perpetrated or backed the following genocides:
Not even getting into the mass death caused by American sanctions.
Are we going back to the 1600-1800s? If so I think the list of Eurasian/Russian (in whatever form) fuckery and murder is quite long as well.
Probably best not to take high ground on that
There is no high ground here.
So let's not stand on the idea of one country "far exceeding" another, when that claim is anything but clear cut.
Ok. Lots of folks doing the exact same thing in retort, including you.
No, I saw high grounding, and called it out by example.
You said 'far exceeds" and that's a silly goose thing to say
Thanks I still see "Nope, Russia is far worse."
Drop those quotes, I didn't say that.
Junk approach, junk position, junk attempt.
OK, well thanks dad. Y'all can get pretty pissy about the role of the states in global affairs.
Nah, you just posted trash and got called on it
Touch grass dude, no one is defending the US here, two things can be true at once.
I always love when someone from a country with a homogenous ethnic and cultural background tries to tell me about how racist the US is.
Hey, maybe stick to .ml. They like to ban conversation and put people in their place. That seems like the home you're looking for.
On full display for all to see
Such progressive ideals! Truly an ambassador for a better future
Lots of strawmanning right here
What's your opinion on the Romani people?
