MODERATORS

... still i can see their replies.

important clarification

since replies here are confusing things up : i don't want to block users ... only communities from that instance (...and only because their moderation is biased).

original titleDo you have this ? Since my account is blocking Lemmy.ml, i do not get notified for replies of users from there

... maybe that original title was confusing ?

Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work?

In a federated system, only the instance admin can block others from commenting.

You can ignore, but you can’t prevent them from replying to your public posts.

i like the fact that they can reply to me but i would like to be notified like for any other replies from other instances.

If you want to hear from them, why would you block them?

Bruh you have no idea what OP is talking about in either of your replies...

They're talking about blocking an instance, which isn't blocking every user, it's blocking every community.

If you do that you still see accounts and their comments, but do t get notified by replies.

I mean, OP already said that. And you didnt understand the first time, so I'm not sure doing it again will help.

But that's why you're confused.

You’re mixing up user blocks of an instance with defederation.

....

Fuck man, are you a really good troll or honestly not able to understand?

Because to everyone else the result is the same, and speaking of blocks....
