Hello everyone,

Frostforge is a progressive 3.3.5 server launched on March 28th with actually 200 active players from different time zone. Players have been soft locked to level 60 until July 5th. The new soft lock is level 70 (TBC). On average, we have around 30-55 players online at any time of the day.

For anyone who didn't have the chance to see it yet, here are some bullet points about my server;

• Crossfaction is enabled
• Rates are x7 for killing, x4 for experience, x2 for reputation and x2 for profession. There's an option NPC that turns your exp to X1 if you want to experience the vanilla content for a while before moving into TBC)
• NPC Bot module. You can get up to 4 bots of your choice, per character. You have to gear them as if you were gearing your own characters.
• Customized attunements so people don't skip progression. However, Vanilla attunements are removed since our community is mostly on TBC content now)

Frostforge is also known as THE place for Quality of Life improvements;

• Double talent points which means you have access to 102 talent points at level 60 (lots a new spec/meta)
• You can learn all professions on the same character
• Instant flight, instant mail, all flight path are discovered at level 1
• Instant BG - NPC Bots are smart and strong enough to not just turtle in the middle of WSG
• Original PvP titles reintroduced
• Instant dungeon regardless of the amount of people you have in your group
• Ressurect inside dungeon when you die (no walk of shame)
• No class restriction on gears (You can be feral druid with rogue tier sets, or a prot paladin with Warrior set gears, etc.)
• Gylph vendor (in exchange of a reasonable amount of gold) added for WOTLK glyphs
• Defense/Weapon skills automatically learned upon leveling up
• Gold dump vendor; bags, mounts, pets, heirlooms, etc.
• Transmog any type of armor/weapon
• T3 obtainable in different ways for xmog lovers
• Raven Lord obtainable for everyone
• Kara and Arcatraz key Binds to Accounts with extra copies for your alts
• Higher drop rates on Motes, you can even get Khorium ores from mining Adamantite
• Customised quests that allows you to get a customised vendor pet
• NPC buff bot selling lots of bots for littly tiny amount of golds
• Random generator stats module
• Many many more!

If I recall correctly, Hardcore started on a single server and was initially dismissed by most players as a gimmick that would never catch on. I thought it would never catch on, but surprisingly, it gained traction and was officially implemented by Blizzard.

What were your initial thoughts on Hardcore when you first heard about it?

I'm still puzzled that it became as popular as it did as its peak. I believe a fair number still play it, even.

Crusader-Storm Road Map.

Hey Everyone!,

It's coming up to a week since the server successfully launched last Friday and the population is rising slowly but surely.

The realm is still in the early stages of Phase 0 and there is still a few weeks left before Phase 1 begins on August 2nd.

Again, huge thanks to everyone who has shown interest and support for the server and to those who are already in the Discord. It's been great to see people interacting, helping each other out, sharing addons etc. And shoutout to Nikjo for being an amazing GM/Server admin.

As I have been posting for the last few weeks, Crusader-Storm is a newly launched server for The Burning Crusade expansion of World of Warcraft Classic using the updated 2.5.3 client. (The original 2.4.3 client may still be used as well if this is your preference or if you're using a Mac.)

The server is up and running for those who are looking for a fresh server or are interested to give things a try.

Some info on Crusader-Storm:

• Amazing Community!: The community have been amazing and very welcoming for this server. Everyone helps each other out if something is needed and that is great to see.
• Classic Experience with New client: Play TBC on a version of the 2.5.3 client. (2.4.3 client can also be used if preferred - Realmlist pinned on the Discord.)
• Phase release plan: Starting with Phase 0, the server will be progressing through the TBC stages. Phase 1 will begin on August 2nd, Phase 2 November 1st, Phase 3 January 3rd, Phase 4 April 4th and finally Phase 5 on May 23rd.
• Auction House Website view: View and search for items that have been listed in the Auction house directly from the website.
• Server Location: The server's based in the EU, but players from all over the world are welcome to join. There are currently a fair amount of players from NA that play.
• Experience Rates: Levels 1-58 are x2 Experience rates, Levels 58-70 are x1 rates.
• Realm Type: The server is highly PvE focused, however PvP mode can be enabled with the /pvp command.
• Compatible addons: Use addons compatible with WoW’s 2.5.3 client to tailor your game interface and gameplay. There is also a channel in the Discord where people are posting their working addons.
• Mounts: Crusader-Storm follows the classic TBC progression. However, we’ve reduced the costs for riding skills and mounts by 50%.
• Cross-Faction interactions: Horde or Alliance, we’re in it together. Enjoy shared Auction House and cross-faction interactions, such as grouping, mailing, trading, guilds and messages.
• No Cash Shop: There's no cash shop for the server. Everyone has an equal playing field. There are no plans to add one either.
• No Personal Details Required!: There's no E-mail address or personal details required to create an account for the server. Simply create a username and password that you'd like to use.

How to Play on the server?

If you're interested or you'd like to join, it's easy. On the website, visit the “How To Play” link under the “Game Guide” tab on left. This guide will help you create an account, which you’ll use to log into the game client as well as the website. No E-mail address or personal details required here.

Crusader-Storm ~!Launching Today!~ 7PM UK Time

Hey Everyone!,

The day has arrived and it's almost time for the server to come online. There is less than a couple of hours to go before everyone can log in to play. The server will be starting with Phase 0 from launch. Phase 1 will begin on August 2nd. See the bottom of the post for the phase timeline.

Again, I want to give a big thanks to everyone who has already shown interest and support for the server and to those who are already in the Discord. It's been great to see people interacting there and helping out with testing, sharing addons etc.

The server is is launching on Tonight, (5th July) at 7PM BST.
