Every time I try to enter the game, I get stuck on the loading screen then I get disconnected

When I try to login I either:

1 - Get stuck on loading and have to close the game

2 - Get an error saying "A character with that name already exists" (even though I'm only logging in)

3 - Get disconnected back to the game's login page

server list shows zero characters, none of them can log in, cant make a new character, deleted cache and wtf folder interface etc, bar loads to full now, but still not logging in.

Anyone have any experience with this issue?

Appreciate people might not really care but I've recently fell in love with the game all over again.

I've played on and off since Cata playing pretty much only PVP - mainly healer but more recently DPS. Recently leveled a dwarf warrior for no reason other than I love the theme of it, and just decided to start tanking dungeons out of looking for a new little challenge. After having never done it before I feel like I'm playing a completely different game and seeing it from a completely different perspective. I now feel like an excited kid again waiting for the new content of TWW and getting to explore all the new PVE content and play through the story and lore. I think it helps that I love the lore of the game anyway having read a load of the books but still! If you're feeling like the game is a bit stale, try something new because you might just like it.

After a long hiatus through all of Shadowlands and most of Dragonflight, I've resumed updating the Bejeweled addon for modern client support. General gameplay seems to still be working, a miracle since this was originally released in 2008-ish by PopCap.

You can find the latest release on GitHub here.

This release supports the TWW Client (PTR/Beta), Cataclysm, and Classic.

It should function on Dragonflight 10.2.7 if you select "Load outdated addons". It should work natively upon pre-patch arrival.

I will no longer be doing features or bug fixes from my end. I've lost nearly all my limited skills at Lua over the years. (Use them or lose them, kinda thing).

If you have changes or bug fixes, fork and make a pull request!
