Under a Krononaut Moon

Welcome Time Travelers under the Full Moon on March 25, 2024

published on Medium.com and Write Under the Moon

It’ll be a Full Moon and a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse, and a perfect night in 2024 for welcoming Time Travelers to beam down and visit in our time. All are invited (past and future) to join in the celestial observances this spring, wherever you are and with whomever you would like to be. You can invite your friends and colleagues on that night, or you can connect with the cosmos by yourself, along with your past and future selves. Please take lots of documentation photos for sharing on Medium.com and in the Fediverse. In the year after, the Krononaut Moon will occur during a Total Lunar Eclipse on March 14, 2025. There will be more Lunar Eclipses and more Krononaut Moons in coming years — where we will continue to advance the study of Community Time Travel Research (or Krononautics). Help make progress with these intertemporal, interdimensional experiments — community efforts to make contact with intelligences from a distant time. When the Moon goes dark is when the Time Travelers arrive. We hope to see you on Monday, March 25 (Penumbral Lunar Eclipse at 07:00 UTC) or on Sunday night the 24th.

Please let us know about any errors or inaccuracies in this article. You can find out more info on the Krononaut Moon Project, with details on experimental design, on these webpages:

(@KronoMoon is new on Lemmy)

Over 40 years ago, our group, refered to as the Krononauts, organized a reception for Visitors from the Futures, under the Full Moon on March 9, 1982, in the hopes that Time Travelers would have heard that they were invited to visit, and so might actually show up. The night's festivities were covered by the New York Times. That original gathering is also mentioned on Wikipedia's Time Travel page.

In the ensuing decades, the basic logic was tested by 4 similar independent efforts, attempting to make contact with extratempestrials on 3 separate continents — a total of 3 in the US, plus the UK, and Perth, AU. In 2009, the late great astrophysicist Stephen Hawking offered a champagne toast to tourists from the future in Cambridge, UK. You can read about these proceedings on @KronoMoon's Medium.com pages.

All 5 of these early efforts (starting with our own) were marked by a fundamental flaw. (Of course, none of them had the Fediverse back then, either!) They were all one-off, stand-alone, single-site-specific events, which are probably not the ideal conditions for making contact with extradimensional beings. Time Travel is a risky business, and the circumstances could have put both our long-distance guests and the organizers in potential danger, as is known well by readers of science fiction. Except that, this is not fiction. The Krononaut Moon Project is working to finally remedy this shortsightedness by repeating and improving upon the efforts every Spring (in the Northern Hemisphere / Fall in the South) with all who would like to take part. By numerous far-flung participants offering a diverse range of get-togethers, performances and other experimental designs in a variety of locales, the Time Travelers — the Krononauts or Chrononauts — can then select which landing parties are best suited for them. Maybe one of those locales will be yours! Please join in on March 25, 2024, under the Full Moon, wherever you are, with whomever you like, or with only your past & future selves observing the cosmos. And please take lots of photo documentation for sharing, in this year and in every year after. Image from the NYTimes.com.

The Why Files - Weekly Stream

I've been watching this guy for about a year now. He's really exploded in popularity for a good reason. He delivers a pretty concise review of the facts and manages to be entertaining without a bunch of drama. He has a broad range of shows in regards to content ranging from science to supernatural to just bizarre and a lot of points in between.

What are some other good streams you would recommend? I was historically a fan of coast to coast, Darkness Radio and Midnight In The Desert (With Art Bell).

A more-than-decent look at the Varginha, Brazil, UFO/creature incident from 1996. It starts a little slow, but really held my attention once it got going. I wasn't familiar with any of it going in. Surprisingly, there weren't really any "eye roll" moments or oversensationalization that are common with these kinds of things. I think the interviewer wants to amp it up, but the language barrier and translators keep him reeled in. It's fairly engaging and not super over the top.

Linked to Tubi for convenience.

Magenta, Italy - UAP (www.archiviolastampa.it)
submitted 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) by HM05_Me@lemmy.world to c/ufo@lemmy.ml

I was curious if there was any documentation on the UAP in Magenta, Italy that David Grusch mentioned in his interview. Per Grusch, a craft was recovered in Magenta, Italy in 1933 held by Mussolini’s government in 1944-1945 and then obtained by the US after the Vatican notified them of it’s existence.

I came across an article from January 2, 1933 about a meteor seen over Turin, Italy heading northeast towards Magenta, Italy.

“At a certain point therefore, in the direction of the Valentino park and somewhat above the line that the Turin hills mark on the horizon, a large luminous point appeared in the sky, shining with a vivid and very white light. The bright celestial mass, following a trajectory similar to that of shooting stars, but very long and streaking the blue with an incandescent streak, moved very quickly from south to north-east, i.e. following a path inverse to that of the sun and of the moon.”

The meteor then exploded near Monte Rosa, which is just north of Magenta, Italy. “the meteor exploded, flaked, divided into two or three radiant tongues, and then went out.”

Obviously, not much else to go on and the details of the alleged incident are already vague. But, it seemed like a possible match to the event to me. Full translated text via Google Translate below. Thoughts? I’m currently looking for other articles on the event.

Translation: "Shining meteor in the sky of Turin The Interesting Celestial Phenomenon - People’s Comments and Inferences

An interesting celestial phenomenon that is all the more remarkable as it occurred during the day, occurred in the sky above our city.

It could have been 5.10 or 5.15 pm and the day was very clear, as the sun had just started to set after a wonderful New Year’s day. Many people were out on the streets at that hour, going out for a walk or heading home after enjoying the clear winter afternoon in the avenues and gardens.

So many have had the opportunity to observe what happened in the clear atmosphere at the aforementioned hour. We describe the commode phenomenon noticed from Piazza Castello. At a certain point therefore, in the direction of the Valentino park and somewhat above the line that the Turin hills mark on the horizon, a large luminous point appeared in the sky, shining with a vivid and very white light. The bright celestial mass, following a trajectory similar to that of shooting stars, but very long and streaking the blue with an incandescent streak, moved very quickly from south to north-east, i.e. following a path inverse to that of the sun and of the moon.

Having reached a point roughly corresponding to the area located between the Monterosa hamlet and the cemetery, the meteor exploded, flaked, divided into two or three radiant tongues, and then went out.

A cry of amazement was raised by those who were able to notice the marvelous phenomenon, which lasted no more than two or three seconds.

And since yesterday was New Year’s Eve, the extraordinary celestial event was immediately interpreted as an excellent omen, as an auspicious manifestation for the whole of 1933.

Within the public after the event gave rise to the most fantastic comments, all auspicious, however, all marked by the most smiling optimism.

It has been said; this is the sign that a new era is beginning. The meteor blossomed above the Valentino, on the famous park which is almost the symbol of the city, and, crossing the whole center of Turin, it disappeared near the cemetery. So happiness or prosperity for the living Turinese, peace for the dead who will no longer be crucified for the discomfort and annoyance of loved ones left in the world.

The fiery globe then traveled across the sky in an unusual direction, from midday to the East, that is, in the opposite direction to the movement of the stars of the planets.

Its meaning is therefore clear… It announces a reversal in the course of events, we will not go blue towards the crisis and bad times but we will go backwards, we will return to well-being and abundance; from the declining noon it will rise to the radiant morning, as the star proceeded from southwest to east. Finally, it is surprising that it appeared on the first day of 1933, declared by the Pope the Holy Year for the nineteenth secular anniversary of the passion of Jesus Christ.

These and other things were heard yesterday evening and this morning around the city. And since we have no reason to deny these happy popular omens, we too welcome them without reservations, that good wishes - human and supernatural - are never too much for anyone."

Edit: Cleaned up some translation. Also, note the location of Monterosa is a bit unclear, whether it's within Turin or Monte Rosa northeast of the city. But, the general path still suggests crashing towards Magenta.
