No Man's Sky

Does anyone else get the annoying bug wherein when warping to the freighter, you end up in the module that contains the portal, but somehow that entire place (which in my case contains a planetary scanner, some fleet command posts and a galactic trade terminal) becomes offset by a little bit in relation to the rest of the base, which means corridors no longer link and it's just a wall inside the module, and doors become just a tiny bit separated so that you to jump over a handrail to exit unto the external walkway?

Has anyone been able to track this to some cause? I've had it happen almost every warp while being in a certain system, while for others I've gone 2 weeks without any such incident.

I just wanted to make this little post to say that after losing my previous permadeath save after 12 hours, I persisted, and made it to the center on my second attempt.

I kind of cheesed it though, thanks to the teleporter on the anomaly, and a guy named Jeff Pesos who happened to have a base one hop away from the galaxy's center.

I did manage to do this on the Playstation many years ago, but I recently got back into the game on PC and wanted to 100% it.

I had a thought: Someone should create a plugin to add the Kerbal star/planet system to No Man’s Sky. We could visit the lil’ green guys. Help them with their space program. It’d be fun!

The hauler, explorer, and fighter are custom.

4. Vy'Keen Jones (wanted something like Indiana Jones)
5. Eru, The Traveller (Eru is the creator god of Tokien's Middle-Earth)
6. b9L7, The Construct (the letters and numbers are supposed to be inverted mirror images)
7. Squee, The Living Ship Operator, and Archibald Tuttle (Squee is from Magic The Gathering and Archibald Tuttle is a character from the movie Brazil)
8. Racer X (a character from the cartoon Speed Racer)
9. The Planeteer (supposed to be like The Rocketeer but with a sci-fi influence)
10. The Adversary (the main bad guy in my No Man's Sky universe and he's all decked in black because he's evil)

I can't figure out how to place an Opulent Tapestry, it's always trying to snap into walls or the floor and when I switch to free build to stop the snapping it's like half way across the base. why is it so broken?

I'll bet you a nickel I'll never pull this off again.

New player here. A bit surprised to see this mission "procedurally" generated. Has anyone else seen this?

Came but to NMS after about 2 years off. Played a new permadeath game with a friend, no other options changed from normal. But I couldn't last more than a few minutes.

Had to sprint to ferrus, I had to sprint to sodium, and even then I died about 50% of the time. Three sodium plants got me to maybe 30% hazard protection. My hazard protection was ticking down at 1% per second. Falling from any height (even jetpack softened) meant my jetpack broke.

And after four attempts, I finally got the ship and recharged to max with a good ten harvested sodium plants before going off on the Hermetic Seal quest. Half way there, the game throws a storm at me. Totally open ground, no shelter at all. And my entire stock of Sodium goes in seconds and then I die.

My friend's hazard protection was going down a lot slower, even when we were next to each other and his sodium filled him up a lot more (he said about 50 to full, I needed over 100 to full).

No idea what I did wrong.

I’m playing on gamepass and haven’t been able to see the new space stations yet. There aren’t any updates available to download for the game so not sure if it’s a gamepass thing or something I’m doing wrong.
