Excellent recording by Michael Murray, played on one of the largest organs in the world. It sounds absolutely massive. The lows in this piece will make your house shake.

Hi Lemmy

Not sure if this is the right community for requests, if not, mods feel free to delete this post.

After a long time I'm finally finding joy again in listening to music. Lately I'm into stuff that combines classical or symphonic instruments (i.e. brass, strings, piano) with modern music styles like electronica, pop or hip hop.

Stuff like the albums Symphonia or Deluxe by Schiller, or the OST of the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942.

Do you have any suggestions for similar tracks?

My 15 year old son is fascinated by digging into this era of music. I was in my mid-teens when these two songs came out. I believe that I missed them because bands like New Order, Depeche Mode, The Cure etc. overshadowed them.

Tres - Operator

Turquoise Days - Grey Skies

Recently a friend and I were talking about the pop punk band LWL, and he asked if I had their discography or even just their album "Quarter Life Crisis". I had several of their tracks on an old hard drive but not nearly as much as I thought, so we went looking online for their music but found.... nothing. Okay, maybe not "nothing" since there are tracks like "I'll Always Remember the 6th" on youtube but nothing as far as album rips are concerned.

So, any of you old punks with large collections - can you help a brother out?

Sometimes it's in the title, sometimes it's in the song, but it's always just music. No more.

Cool ragtimey tune, with train activity in the background. The 1929 original from Prince Albert Hunt’s Texas Ramblers. "Feel like a jug of molasses"

Our first filmed session of Loose and Leafy isolation. One or two audio glitches, do forgive us Leafs...we aren't used to the virtual world. Anyway, it's about the music...so enjoy, dance, sway, listen!

This song was created for the Monkey Jam 2024 game competition. Unfortunately my team's game was not finished, but I decided to release the song either way since it's a nice chill track.

Have to watch it on Invidious/Piped/a utube frontend as it's region locked. What a damn shame that some people won't be able to see this.
