My current Minecraft project is recreating all of the lighthouses of Iceland in their correct places. I'm using Wikipedia's pictured list for my basis. So far I've imported a topographical map and am using world painter to create Icelandic Minecraft biomes. Fun times

It can be very moody and lovely. The lack of sunlight in the winters can be a bit of a struggle to deal with however.

I saw an art exhibit there a while back called "God, I feel so bad", which I feel like sums up the experience of living with such little sunlight.

I believe it. We visited in late summer so didn’t see it. I don’t think I’d mind much myself but it’s all academic as I’ll never live there.
