or maybe put them in a box, and put the location and description of that in the will.
that way nobody will get to know thepassword other than those it was intended for, and you can still change your passwords (and update the box) for your own security

That's a great idea, aside from the fact that they make you change it regularly.

But they don't make you change the password for your password manager.
