I have an ID4 and a Mach-e which are both going strong at around 50,000 miles. The ID4 had to go in the dealership for nearly a month one time which was frustrating to say the least. That was due to a recall and software update which bricked the car. Eventually they got it up and running and it's been solid ever since. Previously we had two 2012 Chevy volts which each made it to about 185,000 mi. One was still working at that point and we sold it, the other was not

Which do you like driving more? And which do you think is a better / more reliable car?
I was locked in on the id.4 for the price, I ended up getting the car for about 31.5 OTD, for an AWD pro, after 7500/3500/1000 in incentives, so the mach e or other EV's were not really in the conversation. We had looked at the Kona, but it's too small for our use too.
No issues with my Subaru Solterra, aside from the disappointing supercharging speed. Not a huge issue for me personally though. I've gone 31k kms so far and I will never buy another gas car.
That last comment I feel, even if I've only gone a short distance.
I drove some hybrids in the city a few years back and now any time I go in my gas car it's so shit. Evs in the city are so far superior it isn't funny.
I have a Mitsubishi Mirage as a second car and it has 75hp. As a gasser it's brutal, but if it was a 75hp EV it would be much more driveable.
I have a Q4, which is on the same platform. I have had no issues. We only use L1, but we only travel about 40 kms a day and maybe 150 kms on the weekend. We have close to 10 000 kms on it.
Comes with free L3 charging. Last road trip had to use tesla Super Charger with a magic dock, it was super expensive.
I was a little surprised at how expensive it was, and I've only got 500kwh of charging... But that's why I got l2 at home.
I think you mean .5 kWh, yeah, that would take forever. I get about 1.2 kWh, which can recover most day to day driving. Having said that, I'm also thinking of getting an L2 for the winter. I don't think reduction in range will be that bad, but I got a free charging station with the car so might as well use it!
.90 cents CAD per kWh was a little nutty!
No I mean vw gives electrify America 500 kWh charging for the 24's, unlike prior years with free 30 m sessions for 3 years

How’s the steering wheel buttons? I hear those are kind of controversial with the ID4
The 24 has some updates that prior years don't have. So far I don't mind them. I'm really still adjusting to the car and trying to get it set to my liking. Lots of little things which are odd. So much light in the cabin at night.
The UI is still really distracting while driving in general. In my old car, I could defrost, or dial the radio with out looking, I could adjust heat direction or put on defogger without thought. This is far more attention requiring.
But, I like the car. Far from perfect, but light years more advanced than the 15 year old sti it replaced. Faster too.
