Trying to fix fonts is a very bad idea. If you want icons, either look into nerdfonts or use kitty as your terminal (with kitty you can map specific codepoints to specific fonts).
This could be an encoding problem, in which case you need to configure your terminal to use UTF-8 if it's using something else. If it really is the fonts themselves, I'd advise you to look through your installed packages and reinstall all the font-related ones (they probably all have ttf
in the name).
You probably don't have to manually read the entire package list - you can use pacman -Qo /path/to/file
to find out which package owns a file, do that to all your installed fonts, and reinstall those packages.
And don't forget to refresh the font cache with fc-cache -vf
afterwards!
