I'm trying to mod my lemmy.one account for my Lord of the memes communitiy for the upcoming reddit event where many subreddits are going dark

You have to make a post or comment in the community with your lemmy.one account and then with your midwest.social account click the three dots on the comment and choose 'appoint as mod'.
