this certainly isn't the main takeaway and hopefully it won't be the main area of repercussions for what appear to be pretty worthwhile allegations, but this is incredibly fortuitously timed for elon musk and basically only elon musk. as far as i'm aware he's already trying to meet with the whistleblower here to try and bolster his case against twitter. definitely raises some eyebrows.
