I checked Temu. All of the inventory is local warehouses only now. I opened a chat with customer service. I was told it would remain that way “while we sort things out due to new tariffs”.
When the tariff costs five times more than what you were selling the cheap shit for, somehow it's hard to believe people are going to pay that. Part of these cheap markets is that it's throwaway money for crap, that sometimes is something usable. Hard to justify that now.
I bought a roughly 7 inch pry bar off Temu for less than a pound, it does what is asked for it, and I’d pay a lot more, but it was a risk, always is with Temu and that’s the problem.
I did silicone seedling trays: same pictures as Amazon, same product as Amazon, half the price. Agreed, you need to be careful, but it’s worth noting the overlap between Amazon and Temu. I sure wouldn’t buy clothing from them.
Cast aluminum T square, red like the main brand. $10. That too is aok. I’d be quite upset if I dropped the main brand and broke it, at $180.
