I'm a 1. I was today years old when I learned that there are people who can only visualize the outline of an apple, nothing at all, or anything other than a fully 3D rendered apple like in a computer generated image. To answer your question, no I don't!

you don't run into problems like awful actors, or they suddenly introduce a fetish you're not into

You are totally on point, to answer op and staying in topic, that's like the difference between wanking and being wanked, both will get you there but being passive and enjoying new things is always nice. It's not because you can visualize it that you can think of it. Moreover I have great spatial and detailed mind visualization but I have trouble with faces. As an example I can visualize myself navigating in streets and places, I can rotate objects in my mind and other stuff, but faces are hard for me, like reading in a dream . In real life too I have a bad faces recognition/memory.
