I would fork it myself and maintain it, but I only have experience in developing mobile apps using Flutter and not Native.

Here is a list of forks on codeberg, unfortunately none of them has more commits than the original repo.
Of course it is possible someone put the project on GitLab or GitHub or somewhere else.

My recommendation is to move on. Sooner or later Eternity won't be able to keep up with lemmy developments or even break. Better get used to another app before that happens. I can absolutely recommend Voyager for Lemmy, give it a try.

I guess someone will post here as soon as they are willing to develop Eternity any further, but there is no point in waiting.

I second Voyager. Has a pwa and fdroid options, works very well and is gaining customizations all the time.

Really like eternity, but I don't have the time or skills to help develop it.

Yeah, Voyager really is the best interface overall. The PWA is so good, that it's hard to even realize it's not a native app. By far the smoothest PWA I've ever used.

I really wanted Eternity to work out, being that I loved (and still love thanks to Revanced patching) Infinity for Reddit. But it does seem like Eternity was too much to try and convert over.
