British is a nationality that encompasses English, Welsh, Scottish and some of Northern Ireland. Why do so many people think British=English?
Now I'm curious: What exactly do you think the screenshotted tweet is about? And what does English have to do with it?
The comment was so close to being comedy gold by being about people conflating two differenr groups as is often the case with discrimination.
