Open to everything related to Bitwig Studio. Current emphasis on learning the program for users of other Digital Audio Workstations (but also for those new to all this entirely).

All skill levels welcome but this is a beginner friendly space. Please, don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have about production in Bitwig and please don't berate others for not knowing something you already knew.

Most importantly, get making some crazy sounds!

Hey fellow Bitwiggers, I'd love to sample from YouTube as easy as possible. I'm on Linux, what are my options?

EDIT:
It is super simple! Again, I'm on Linux. Start Bitwig, go to Settings > Audio. My driver model is JACK. Add a stereo input bus and select JACK/PulseAudio JACK Sink as input from the dropdown. If your select this as an input on an audio track, you can play anything on your computer and record it in Bitwig.

Great setup, but I'm even lazier. I don't want to download (I use NewPipe as well), but I'd like to route YouTube audio to a Bitwig tracks audio in and hit record.

Actually have you watched this? (timestamped link), that looks like a setup that better would fit your needs.

This looks interesting, Polarity analyses audio in the browser. Now if I could record this, I'd be pretty happy.
