In the rare situations that happens, it's awesome. Unfortunately, most of the game requires that a Helldiver can be self sufficient and doesn't have to rely on being tied to the hip of someone else to be effective. Hopefully they can find a way to encourage team work without making it as punishing as relying on someone else to carry a backpack and reload you.
It would help so much if you could team reload someone from the pack they're wearing, if you don't have one of your own.
Yeah running up to someone else's backpack and reloading for them would be nice since it would mean you could keep your own backpack slot, you'd still get the efficiency bonus from team work, and the player with the weapon could still be self-sufficient.
yeah, imagine the incentive for teamwork, badass moments, and FUN of reloading a battle buddy while wearing your shield and getting that double coverage like the hug emote. Just the thought is too cool, nerfs inbound.
