I imagine folks are buying the cheapest socially-acceptable caffeine* they can buy. I’ve never visited some nice big house somewhere and seen Folgers on the counter.

*aight it’s not just that the even-cheaper pills are cause for glances askew, hot & brown tasting must be desirable even when it’s coming from the worst of the worst hot brown liquids
