The basement of a house I lived in burned down because the resident fell asleep on the couch while smoking. He died.

Always put the ashtray on a table.

How sad, I hope no one was hurt. I only smoke when I'm awake in real time. Then I put it on a table, but I admit that it's difficult to smoke on the bed

I'd say death by suffocating counts as 'getting hurt'
