A lot happened for TF2 in 2023, with more content than the "usual". This is also my second year playing TF2. I want to see how everyone felt about TF2 in 2023 in general.

I had a good bit of fun playing casual. It’s not too hard to find a decent server in my region. I find the continued heavy monetization of the game frustrating given the lack of significant support.

well they're just cosmetics your gambling for? that's literally the only new things they monetize, hard to call it heavy monetization when you compare it to actual gacha games and other games with in app purchases on the market, tf2 is like "medium" monetization at most, even then "medium" feels like a stretch

To be fair, taunts are also monetized and they can save your live in some situations.
