(...) we present the first security and privacy assessment of e-scooters internals. We cover Xiaomi M365 (2016) and ES3 (2023) e-scooters and their interactions with Mi Home (their companion app).

We extensively RE their internals and uncover four critical design vulnerabilities, including a remote code execution issue with their BMS. Based on our RE findings, we develop E-Trojans, four novel attacks targeting BES internals. The attacks can be conducted remotely or in wireless proximity. They have a widespread real-world impact as they violate the Xiaomi e-scooter ecosystem safety, security, availability, and privacy. For instance, one attack allows the extortion of money from a victim via a BMS undervoltage battery ransomware. A second one enables user tracking by fingerprinting the BES internals. With extra RE efforts, the attacks can be ported to other BES featuring similar vulnerabilities.

I took medication between '09 and '14. I got off of it because it was hella expensive. I adapted routines to keep me on track, and it worked for a long time.

I'd already had a psych eval in early September and got my report back about five weeks ago, but I procrastinated on calling my doctor to get a prescription. I did finally see him about a ten days ago, and he said he'd prescribe me some Adderall once the psychologist's office faxed him the report so I called them to have that done. By Tuesday this week, I hadn't heard back about scripts, and after that incident with the door, I needed to know something. I needed to be a squeaky wheel.

Fast forward to today, and I have my medicine in hand. I really hope to see results in the next few months once we get my dose figured out. I'm just so tired of living in a mental fog all the time.

Last time, I felt so broken because I needed a drug to function like a normal human. These days, I've shed myself of that line of thought. If I can't make my own neurotransmitters, store bought is fine.

Russia's acts of sabotage against Western targets may eventually prompt NATO to consider invoking the alliance's Article 5 mutual defence clause, the head of Germany's foreign intelligence service said on Wednesday. "In Russia's view, this goal would be reached if Article 5 were to remain without effect in case of a Russian attack," he said.

"To meet this target, you don't need to send tank armies westwards, it is enough to dispatch little green men to the Baltics to protect allegedly threatened Russian minorities or adjust borders on Svalbard".

Under the terms of the ceasefire, the Lebanese army and UN peacekeepers were to become the only armed presence in south Lebanon, where Hezbollah has long held sway.
